Yes, Sweden will participate in Eurovision Song Contest 2026 The Swedish national television SVT, who airs the contest in Sweden, commented that they have "a different judgement on the matter" than the lands who decided to boycott ESC due to Israel being allowed to participate. Sweden being known by its neutrality om different matters, this decision cannot come as a surprise. It has to be mentioned though that this is also a great opportunity for Sweden to become the country with most wins in the history of Eurovision, as Ireland has decided not to participate in Eurovision 2026. Both Sweden and Ireland currently have 7 wins in the competition.
